The richest 1% of adults held about 47.5% of global household wealth in 2023, according to UBS. The World Inequality Report 2022 puts the top 10% at about 76% of wealth and the bottom half at about 2%. Different databases disagree on the exact split but agree on the shape: wealth is far more concentrated than income.
