How much time does the average person spend looking at screens per day?

Internet users spend an average of 6 hours 38 minutes a day online across all devices (early 2025), of which roughly 3 hours 45 minutes is on a phone. These are self-reported figures from GWI surveys, not measured screen time. Kept up for 60 adult years, 6.6 hours a day adds up to about 16 years.
