Which countries are the most introverted?

Cross-cultural Big Five studies find East Asian samples (Japan, South Korea, China) and some Northern European samples score lower on extraversion, while samples from the United States, Australia and parts of Latin America score higher. Differences between countries are small compared with differences within them, and translation and response style account for part of the gap.
